SUPER JUNIOR PROMOTES SUPER SHOW 3 IN JAPAN

Earlier in the month we reported that Super Junior would add Japan as one of their destinations for their upcoming Asian Tour titled SUPER SHOW 3. The boys will hold a concert early next at the Yokohama Arena on February 18th and 19th. Although this is their 3rd Asian Tour, this will be their first time performing for Japanese fans as part of their SUPER SHOW tour.

Recently, a promotional video for their stop in Japan was revealed. They mention that when Japanese ELF’s first received news of this, they crashed the servers in Japan. They state that they will put on a great and hard working performance for fans in February of 2011. Check it out below:

Kim Jang Hoon, the new Super Junior member?

Well, not quite.

On November 18th, veteran singer Kim Jang Hoon uploaded an entertaining photo onto his me2day that he took with the Super Junior members. He wrote, “Finalized a team with Super Junior. I came to the 1st episode of ‘Super Junior’s Talk Show‘, and their concept was Kim Jang Hoon.”

Because of the way they’re all wearing identical outfits (even sitting in the same way!), Kim Jang Hoon really could pass as a member of Super Junior.

A handful of fans have commented, “Daebak funny”, “In terms of the hair color, Kim Jang Hoon looks like an idol. It looks good on you”, “It feels like I’m watching ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs‘”, and “Aren’t they all Super Junior members? I can’t spot Kim Jang Hoon.”

SuJu members to MC own talk show, ‘Super Junior’s Foresight’

Super Junior are set to become MCs for their very own talk show.

“Four Super Junior members, including Lee Teuk, Eunhyuk and Kyu Hyun will lead a new talk show on MBC Every1, to be titled “Super Junior’s Foresight,” said a representative of the production team on November 18th.

According to the representative, the program will utilize a concept of inviting different stars every week, and will discuss their secret know-hows.

“Super Junior’s Foresight” will air its pilot broadcast this coming December 5th.

SuJu’s Donghae talks about his drama “It’s Okay, Daddy’s Daughter”

Super Junior’s Donghae attended the production conference for SBS’s upcoming drama, “It’s Okay, Daddy’s Daughter” on the afternoon of November 18th.

Donghae is the fourth member from Super Junior to make an official acting debut.

When asked about his thoughts on his role, he answered, “My character is the youngest brother out of three and is a very responsible young man that has a positive outlook on life who is able to overcome obstacles on his own. I’m currently filming the drama with a lot of ease due to the director, staff, and my castmates helping me along the way.”

He continued, “It should be a lot harder and I should be receiving a lot of nagging, but I’m instead receiving much love. I feel glad in being able to show a different side to myself to everyone.”

Others who are in the drama and attended the press conference this afternoon include Moon Chae Won, Lee Hee Jin, 4minute’s Nam Jihyun, CNBLUE’s Minhyuk, Jun Tae Soo and more.“It’s Okay, Daddy’s Daughter” will air on November 22nd.

Super Junior is the most popular Korean Idol in which South American country?

With K-pop quickly spreading in popularity across the globe, the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange is conducting various surveys and researching Hallyu trends in foreign countries. Recently, this organization conducted a Top 10 most popular Korean artist survey in a South American country. Which country was it?

The country is none other than Brazil, which is the world’s fifth largest country and where football (soccer) reigns supreme. The survey polled 2,826 young Brazilians who enjoy Korean music and Super Junior reigned supreme with a total of 2,137 votes.
