It’s been a while since we saw F.Cuz getting jiggy on stage, as they focused more of their promotions in overseas markets like Taiwan, Japan, and Singapore.But the boys are finally back with their 2nd mini album, “Gorgeous“, and they have gone through a total transformation with their title track, “Midnight Sun“, which features absolutely no auto-tune and showcases the members’ vocal talent with dramatic choreography.They also performed “Friend’s Graduation” so check it out below!
There’s a new girl group in town by the name of ‘Girl Story‘, and they’ve just released a teaser video for their debut MV. Curiosity about these girls has pitched to such a degree that site visitors managed to crash the company website in their rush to view the teaser.
Girl Story’s agency, Antz Star Company, explained that the site had reached 60,000 views before it crashed due to the overload. Although the site is undergoing maintenance, the agency is very excited about this unexpected level of interest, and they hope it’s a strong indication of the group’s success. Still, they can’t help but feel a little frustrated at the technical setback.
“The administrative mode for the homepage holds all of our documents. Due to the site crashing, it’s difficult for us to even check the schedules of our own artists,” revealed an Antz Star representative.
The 4-membered group are comprised of well-known faces: Lee Yoon Jung (from dramas “The Return of the Wife,” “Star“, and “The Family’s Honor“); Kim Hye In (from dramas “Jamyungko,” “East of Eden“, and an ad for LG Telecom); Kim Yuri (from the ad for Kumho Rent and the drama “The Shining Inheritance“); and finally Kim Chae Young, the winner of Lotte Mall’s dance competition.
Girl Story’s teaser was directed by Park Byung Hwan and produced by Lee Kyu Nak from the Berklee College of Music.

2NE1 will be ending their 1st album promotions on the November 20th broadcast of MBC’s ’Music Core‘.
2NE1 made their comeback on September 12th via ‘Inkigayo‘, through which they kicked off their promotional activities for ‘To Anyone’. Over the past 2 months, the ladies havec broken many records and nabbed numerous awards for their songs, “Go Away“, “Clap Your Hands“, and “Can’t Nobody“.
Although their last performance will be on ‘Music Core’, 2NE1 will still perform these beloved songs at the ‘2010 MAMA‘, held on November 28th at the Venetian Resort in Macau. The girls will also participate in the ‘2010 YG Family Concert‘ for December 4th and 5th.
We’re sad to see these promotions end, but at the same time, we can’t wait to see what they’ve got up their sleeves for us next!

With K-pop quickly spreading in popularity across the globe, the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange is conducting various surveys and researching Hallyu trends in foreign countries. Recently, this organization conducted a Top 10 most popular Korean artist survey in a South American country. Which country was it?
The country is none other than Brazil, which is the world’s fifth largest country and where football (soccer) reigns supreme. The survey polled 2,826 young Brazilians who enjoy Korean music and Super Junior reigned supreme with a total of 2,137 votes.
In addition to Brazil, youtube viewing statistics show that Super Junior has many views from countries such as France, Italy, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Poland, Russia, Canada, and Sweden.
After attracting a fair amount of controversy with their previous teaser release, boy band F.CUZ has finally released the full music video for their comeback, “Midnight Sun.”
True to their word, the song features absolutely no auto-tune and showcases the members’ vocal talent with dramatic choreography. They’ve definitely shed their “Jiggy” image for this charismatic transformation.
